On 6th December 2024, two Assistant Professors of New Model College, Mangkolemba, Smti Pelhouneinuo Kiewhuo from the Department of English and Smti Longchanenla from the Department of Education has successfully carried out an extension service program at PM Shri School, JNV, Longnak, Mokokchung as Resource Persons. This initiative focused on delivering Career Guidance and Counselling support to aiming to address academic, personal, and socio-emotional dilemmas. Sessions covered included Career Guidance and Counselling of Adolescent Girls, Career Guidance and Counselling for higher secondary students and Gender Sensitisation. The programme facilitated counselling sessions to ensure that participants receive personalized support and advice. This extension service is part of the institution’s commitment to community engagement and holistic education. The College anticipates to conduct similar activities in the future to continuously support the community’s needs.
