The New Model College, Mangkolemba on 26th November, 2025 observed the Constitution Day. The recitation of the Preamble of the Constitution of India is an initiative by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India in line with the theme, “Humara Samvidhan, Humara Swabhiman”.
A mass recitation of the Preamble of the Indian Constitution was led by Assistant Professor Rebecca Khiuphur, Department of Political Science in the college premise.The Constitution Day, also known as Samvidhan Diwas is observed every year on November 26 in India to commemorate the historic adoption of the Constitution of India by the Constituent Assembly on November 26, 1949.
