The Department of Education, New Model College, Mangkolemba, organised a Poster-Making Competition on the theme “The Power of Education” on 27 August 2026. The competition was organised with the objective of encouraging students to creatively express their ideas and perspectives on the significance and transformative power of education.A total of 13 students from various departments of the college participated in the competition. The posters were evaluated by a panel comprising faculty members and college authorities, who assessed the entries based on creativity, relevance to the theme, originality, and overall presentation.
The first position was secured by Mr. Alemjungshi, a B.A. 3rd Semester student from the Department of History, while the second position was secured by Ms. Mendila, a B.A. 3rd Semester student from the Department of English. The competition provided students with an opportunity to showcase their creativity and reflect on the vital role of education in individual and societal development. The event concluded successfully with appreciation extended to all the participants for their enthusiastic involvement.
