The Department of Political Science organized a short film screening as the departmental activity for the semester on 26th October, 2026. The activity included screening two short films, “Democracy” and “Gandhi: A Perspective” which dealt with aspects of democracy, political thinking and our understanding about Gandhi’s ideas.The screening was followed by a discussion with the students, where they were encouraged to reflect on the themes that were shared in the films and share their thoughts with the group. This activity was designed to strengthen students’ critical thinking, and to help them to deepen their understanding of the democratic values and Gandhian philosophy out of class.
