As part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt Bharat Saptah, which is translated as Addiction-Free India Week, the faculty members and students of New Model College Mangkolemba took a pledge against drug and substance abuse on 24th June, 2026. Through the pledge led by Ms. Pelhouneinuo Kiewhuo, the nodal officer of Red Ribbon Club, NMC, the participants committed to initiate positive change within themselves as a step towards making the district Mokokchung and the country drug-free.
